Arthritis
Arthritis
Arthritis is epidemic throughout the world,
affecting hundreds of millions of people
worldwide. There are two forms of
arthritis--osteoarthritis and rheumatoid
arthritis. Many people resort to painful
surgery or harsh drugs for treatment. But,
now there are proven natural treatments available.
Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is characterized by
the inability of the cartilage in joints to
maintain and repair itself. The results of
osteoarthritis is cartilage degradation, erosion
of joint lining, and eventual loss of mechanical
function in the joint, all of which involve
chronic pain ... sometimes severe pain.
The initial symptoms of
osteoarthritis are joint pain, stiffness and
decreased joint movement. In severe cases, the
cartilage in the joint disintegrates entirely,
causing the joint bones to rub against each other,
which causes excruciating pain and rapid loss of
joint function. At this point, conventional
doctors usually recommend joint replacement
surgery.
Protecting the lining of
your joints - In order for osteoarthritis
to be treated effectively, the cartilage and
synovial fluid in the joint must be protected
against further destruction. At the same time, it
is desirable to stimulate anabolic restoration of
joint cartilage and synovial fluid.
Other
names for Osteoarthritis: Degenerative
Arthritis, DJD, Degenerative Joint Disease
Rheumatoid
arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis is
characterized by an autoimmune attack on the
linings of the joints, resulting in severe
inflammation, joint disfigurement, loss of joint
function, and of course, chronic pain.
The
initial symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis are
enlargement of the joints in the fingers, with
increasing pain and loss of function as the
disease flares up.
